Usefulness
Hands down, this ball machine is one of the most feature-rich and will certainly help you improve your game. Perhaps the most unique feature of them all is the high level of programmability. Not only can it do what most machines can do (timing, speed, heights, spin, etc.), but it also has the ability to shoot the ball to 49 different areas of the court. Combine that with the ability to program sequences, you can have the machine simulate a virtually unlimited combination of strokes.

This means that whether you’re a beginner or advanced, this machine will push you to your limits. With such a large variety and combination of strokes available, you can practically play a new game each time or continue drilling a specific sequence of strokes and improve the weakest part of your game.

Convenience
At 170 lbs, this baby has to literally be delivered on a crate. So it’s no small fellow, but it can be wheeled around. It doesn’t have a battery option, so you’ll need to plug it in. And without a cover, you’ll have to store it in a dry location.

On the bright side, it can hold 200 or 300 balls (depending on the option?), which means you can do about six drills and with multiple players before having to reload. The remote (and the microcomputer) can be a little intimidating at first, but the serious players will figure it out.

Longevity
For such an expensive machine, there is no warranty(?). However, it is made with aircraft grade anodized aluminum and stainless steel parts, so it will be rugged and last for a long time. The electronics are enclosed in a weatherproof box and nothing sensitive is exposed, so things like dirt, humidity, and clay can’t damage or corrode the machine. But again, it is good practice to store this in a dry place when not in use.

Value
This is definitely one of the most advanced machines in the market today and is priced on the high end. At $11,465, this is one of the most expensive products available. You certainly get your money’s worth because there is no other machine like it out there, but only if it fits within your budget.
